Amazing Vietnamese food. The pho and bun bo hue had so much flavor and so filling. The goi cuốn was so fresh too, and washing it all down with the Thai Iced tea especially on hotter days was fulfilling. The atmosphere really made me forget that I was still in Virginia Beach. Staff and service are also kind and fast. I will absolutely be coming back.
I ordered the Wonton and Egg Noodle soup. It was beyond DELICIOUS!! It had fesh ingredients and a rich tasty broth. The mini wontons were excellent and had so much flavor. The egg noodles were a nice change VS the traditional rice noodle with Pho. I've been coming here for a while, and it never disappoints. Give this cozy local favorite a try!
the best pho place i have ever been. every time we travel i like to try out each state’s pho spot but this one is by far unbeatable! the flavor of the broth is just chefs kiss as well as their spring rolls and all the appetizers! not to mention the amazing staff that are just welcoming and absolute sweet hearts! highly recommend
Grilled chicken and rice was flavorful.the portion was large. Server was attentive. Tables and facility were clean. Cute decors... Many things that represent Viet Nam. I was a bit thrown off by the major price increase for a plain Ole bowl of broth. Usually get that with rice dishes here and it's been about 3$...but it's now 7.99. Next time I'll just order a thing of pho and throw out the noodles so atleast I get the last laugh. Probably won't come back based on the price jump.
My husband and I had lunch here while visiting Va Beach. Everything was amazing the food our waiter and the vibes!!! Thank you! I forgot to get a picture of the pho my husband had but he loved it!!!
What was not to like!? The staff was great, the food and drinks were so tasty and fresh, and the ambiance was beautiful! Highly recommend this place! I ordered the chicken pho, chicken spring rolls, limeade, and pine/leechy tea! Thumbs up!
We were visiting va beach and stopped by pho 79 by chance. We have a family of six who ordered pho, bun thịt nướng, bánh mì , rice plates with grilled meat. Everything were excellent. The service were great. We are picky eaters but was impress with the quality of food here. My 6 and 8 years old said the food tasted like home. It’s one of the best Vietnamese restaurant my family had been to. Thank you pho 79 for the great service and food.
